July 20, Kathmandu. More than 2.1 million people have applied for the IPO of ordinary shares issued by Malung Khola Hydropower Company Limited on Thursday.
According to Siddhartha Capital Limited, the disposal and sales manager, 2,118,925 applicants have applied for 284,41,840 lots in the company's IPO till the last day.
The company has opened IPO issuance and sale of 736,286 ordinary shares at a face value of Rs 100 per share, equivalent to Rs 73,628,600. Out of which 2 percent or 14 thousand 726 shares have been allotted for the employees of the company and 5 percent or 36 thousand 814 shares have been allotted to the collective investment fund and the remaining 6 lakh 84 thousand 746 shares have been allotted to the general public.
